Money Shouldn’t Be Stressful
But if you don’t know how it works, what to do with it, or why you feel broke all the time, money can cause a lot of stress. Hiding from money anxiety can lead to dangerous financial situations like:
- Letting mail pile up unopened and ignoring bills
- Transferring credit card balances to 0% intro fee cards
- Living without an emergency fund – even on a good salary
- Getting in debt suddenly over an emergency car or home repair
- Having to choose between buying groceries and paying the electric bill
You learn math, science, history and literature in school – but never the basic life skills of personal finance. It’s not your fault you don’t understand how money works.
Take Control of Your Finances
The truth is that money is a tool to help you get more of what you want in life. When you master your money, you can prioritize what’s most important to you and cut back on things that don’t matter as much – and ultimately, get money to work for YOU.

Time is your most valuable resource when it comes to investing.
Take Warren Buffett, for example. This world-famous value investor started investing at age 13, and his net worth is now valued at $122 billion. And while he has had 80 years of investment time, about 99% of his net worth came after age 50.
Why? Because compounding interest built his wealth exponentially over time.
You will learn about the power compounding interest – and other money management concepts – as soon as you take Dollars and Sense.
The earlier you start mastering your money, the greater the potential rewards.
